The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering. At the BS level, all the courses in the department are taught by full-time faculty, and many of our undergraduates are engaged in research and summer internships. Several ChE faculty have received awards both at the university and national levels including awards for teaching excellence. The ChE program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Departmental options provide our students with an additional opportunity to focus on special areas of interest. Currently, the available options are

At the M.S. and PhD levels, we offer research opportunities in biomedical engineering, biochemical engineering, electrochemical engineering, separations, advanced materials, polymer engineering, reaction engineering and environmental engineering. All of our graduate students are fully supported by teaching or research assistantships.
