UNH Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is the primary mental health facility on campus. We offer a variety of services that are designed to enhance students' ability to fully benefit from the University environment and academic experience.

University Advising and Career Center

Academic Advising for undeclared Liberal Arts (COLA) students, pre-professional advising, and career resources including resume writing, career opportunities, career fair, internships and more.

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA)

OMSA creates opportunities for people to participate in an inclusive community and to explore and understand diversity, social justice, inclusion, and equity via educational presentations, workshops, professional development and leadership opportunities, retreats, brown-bag discussions, etc.

Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP)

SHARPP is a UNH program dedicated to providing supportive services to survivors of sexual assault, relationship abuse and stalking and their allies, as well as providing education and outreach to the greater University community.

Health Insurance

All full-time degree students attending the University of New Hampshire, either at the Durham or Manchester campuses, are required, as a condition of enrollment, to have adequate health insurance. Information on insurance can be found here.

Safety and Support

The University of New Hampshire Police Department exists to provide public safety services, including law enforcement, crime prevention and suppression, emergency response, investigation and information to the University of New Hampshire community, 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Library

The UNH Library supports the educational and research activities of the students, faculty, and staff of the University of New Hampshire while serving New Hampshire residents as a research-level library and depository for US and NH government publications. It has approximately two million print and electronic volumes and over 36,000 print and electronic serial subscriptions. As well as wired and wireless Internet access, computer workstations, individual study and collaborative group work spaces, and experienced reference assistance.

Memorial Union Building

As the "heart of campus", the Memorial Union provides services, conveniences and amenities to enhance the quality of life at UNH.

Dining Services

UNH Dining Services provides students, faculty and staff with a variety of healthy, tasty options at almost any hour of the day or night. With nine retail and three dining hall locations and a variety of payment options they have something to fit any appetite or budget.

By focusing on  four educational areas, hall staff help students engage and learn about social justice, citizenship, healthy living and academic success.

Financial Aid

Financial aid ensures access to higher education for those who might otherwise lack the necessary financial resources. The Financial Aid Office also serves as an information resource for students, parents, scholarship and loan agencies and high schools.
