Retreats:

Choosing to experience a retreat is a great way to come to a deeper understanding of God’s Love present in your life. Retreats offer you the opportunity to get away from your busy day to day living and get to know God, yourself, others and the community better through nature, activities, games, meditation, fellowship and prayer.

College CityReach:

The CITYREACH program, an overnight urban outreach program offered three times a year, educates college students, teens, and adults about the issue of homelessness. These weekends serve as an important opportunity for suburban youth and adults to gain firsthand experience with homeless people. On a CityReach weekend, participants meet homeless teachers who walk them through the city, and they offer food and clothing to homeless guests at St. Paul 's Cathedral, South Station, Copley Square , and other sites. Before the weekend concludes, participants discuss how they will use their experiences for social change.

A Few Notes on Fabric:
Although cotton is comfortable and breathable, it will not keep you warm if it gets wet. For this reason, try to bring as little cotton as possible. Synthetic fabrics will help keep you dry and warm in unfavorable conditions. Polypropylene and other synthetics will move the moisture away from your body. Wool or synthetic pile/fleece fabrics do not absorb water and will keep you warm even when wet. By combining these fabrics, you will create a layering system which you can adjust accordingly as conditions and activity levels change.
