Catholic Student Organization
This alternative Spring Break works with the Catholic, non-profit of Nazareth Farm in rural West Virginia . ‘The Farm’ is an intentional community of lay volunteers that focus their lives and their work on the cornerstones of community, simplicity, prayer, and service. They are “devoted to developing relationships and eliminating sub-standard housing through home repair in rural West Virginia ”. Throughout the week, volunteers will participate in a communal experience of Church through action and prayer. This trip brings students to the heart of the Appalachian region and allows students to further understand the experience of economic and social poverty within the United States of America .
We will hold information sessions during the Fall Semester for all interested persons.
