With Christmas two weeks away, Wildcat Santa and the Cornucopia Food Pantry are still welcoming donations to help members of the university community who may not otherwise receive needed assistance during the holidays.

Gift suggestions include toys, books, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, games, art supplies, crafts, sporting equipment, movie passes and gift cards. Donations can be dropped off at these various locations around campus. Gift cards for families also are appreciated.

Wildcat Santa sells raffles tickets ($1 each or 6 for $5) to buy family gift cards. Read a sample list of prizes here. The raffle drawing will be held at noon on Dec.17. For more information or to volunteer, contact Cathy Annese at 2-2075 or Maureen Marshall at 2-2567.

The Cornucopia Food Pantry is seeking donations to fill winter food baskets until Dec. 17. The baskets will be distributed Dec. 18. Requests for food baskets can be made until Friday, Dec.13. Read more information here.

Financial donations to purchase food are also welcome. Checks can be made payable to the Cornucopia Food Pantry, and all donations are tax deductible. The food pantry is located at the Waysmeet Center, 15 Mill Road.
