- My scholarly interests range widely, from the study of Spanish legends in the Middle Ages; and, heresy, Iberian folklore and treatises of demonology in Renaissance Spain; to the description of idolatry, paganism and demonolatry upon the exploration and conquest of America. In my free times, I enjoy watching and practicing sports (soccer, basketball, tennis) and spending time with my wife and daughter.

- I did my Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology both in Iran. Then, I completed my PhD in December 2010 at the University of Colorado, Boulder in the area of Geotechnical Engineering. Recently I was continuing research as a post-doc at the University of Colorado, Boulder. For my leisure time I like to spend time with my family, travel and playing sports (ski, volleyball, soccer).
