Departments/Campuses wishing to implement an electronic commerce solution are responsible for the following costs:

• Project management costs. Guidance will be provided by an EPOC representative but a departmental/campus project manager needs to be appointed and actively manage the implementation .

• Front end development costs. Examples are: department web pages to connect to the event registration system and electronic payment gateway and shopping cart applications.

• Customized solutions – unique/specialized vendor requirements, third party applications, etc.

• Per event set up costs (currently being evaluated).

• Credit card and ecommerce discount/transactional costs - see below.

Ecommerce pricing structure:
ACH transaction fee $ 0.36 per transaction
Returned ACH $ 0.66 per transaction
Resubmitted ACH $ 0.78 per transaction

USNH, through reallocation to the campuses is responsible for the following costs:

•  Monthly InfiNET hosting/maintenance fee

•  Development of the events registration system

•  Enterprise Computing Group (ECG) resources for technical oversight and connection to the USNH electronic commerce payment gateway. Note – ECG resources are allocated through the Banner Working Group (BWG)

•  Feed processing and maintenance costs from the electronic payment system to the USNH General Ledger.

In all cases, the UNH VPFA Office will work with the department, CIS and Research Computing to determine the full implementation cost before the department is required to make a decision about implementation.
