WELCOME! |
|
The purpose of the BSU (a subgroup of the DSC) is to foster an environment where one can gain knowledge, awareness and a sense of self. The group is open to anyone and welcomes everyone to join. Through social, educational, and political programming, we strive to introduce, empower, and educate the entire UNH community relating Black identity and cultures. Our focus is to promote the awareness of both historical and current issues that are relative to people of African decent. Our approach and sense of community provides students of color and allies a chance to convey their messages in ways that offer balance, understanding, and provides support and creative outlets.
The BSU is a great way to be involved and meet new people. There is something new and different to do at every meeting, such as organizing events, movies, games, guest speakers, round table discussions and much, much more. Don’t get left out of the loop, BSU is the group for you. |
