Where is the BSU office located?

No. The BSU is an undergraduate student run organization funded by the Student Activity Fee which student pay for in their tuition. However, we would like to serve the community and would love anyone with ideas to attend and participate.

When and where are the meetings?

Meetings are held at  every Wednesday @ 8pm in the DSC Office (Rm. 145 of the MUB) for general members. Please look out for our flyers with more information during the academic year.

What is the purpose of Black Family Weekend?

The purpose of Black Family Weekend is to connect family of African, African-American, Black, Caribbean, Hispanic, Latino, and West Indian descent  to the UNH Community. Click here for more details.

Do you have to be “black” to attend Black Family Weekend?

Not at all! While the programming is done with families of African, African-American, Black, Caribbean, Hispanic, Latino, and West Indian descent in mind, we welcome all members of our UNH community to attend the weekend. Also, please feel free to come to our general Diversity Support  Coalition (DSC) meetings that are held every Sunday night @ 8pm. Watch out for posted flyers!

Where will we stay for Black Family Weekend?

Yes you can register on any day that you arrive...just seek out someone wearing a Black Family Weekend T-Shirt so that you get everything for free!

Can I register for Black Family Weekend during Black Family Weekend?

Accommodations can be made with the area hotels at discount rates. For prospective students, if you decide to attend Friday’s event  you will be guaranteed accommodation in the dorm with a current  student.  Please make you accommodations in a timely manner as space may be limited in many of the hotels.
