About Us!

The Black Student Union (BSU) is a group under the Diversity Support Coalition funded by the Student Activity Fee Committee. We currently have 45 active members and over 200 students who still associate themselves with the BSU. The focus of the Black Student Union is to promote the awareness of both historical and current issues that are relative to people of African descent. Through social and educational programming, we strive to introduce, empower, and educate the entire UNH community about Black identity and cultures. Our approach and sense of community provides students of color and allies support, understanding, and a creative outlet for their voices to be heard..
