Lieutenant Colonel Paul L. Webber was commissioned a Military Intelligence Officers as a Distinguished Military Graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps from Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont, in 1987, where he received a BS in Mathematics. He received a Masters of Science in Operational Research and System Engineering from George Mason University in 1997.
Throughout his Army career, Lieutenant Colonel Webber has served in two difference capacities. His first 10 years was as a tactical Military Intelligence officer, and the last 10 years as an Operations Research, System Analyst.
Lieutenant Colonel Webbers' key tactical Military Intelligence assignments include: Squadron Intelligence Officer, 5/17 Cavalry, Republic of Korea; Battalion Intelligence Officer, 326th Engineer Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); Company Executive officer, Headquarters 311th Military Intelligence Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); Commander, Delta Company(General Support) 312th Military Intelligence, 1st Cavalry Division.
Upon earning his Masters in Operational Research, System Engineering, Lieutenant Colonel Webbers' significant assignments have been: Combat modeler, Center for Army Analysis; Corps' Operational Research System Analysts, V Corps, Republic of Germany; Scholarship analyst, US Army Cadet Command, and currently serving as the Division Chief, Operational Analysis Division, US Army Cadet Command.
Lieutenant Colonel Webber's military education includes Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course, Airborne and Air Assault School, Military Intelligence Officers Advance course, Field Artillery Officers Advance Course and Command and General Staff Course.
Lieutenant Colonels Webber's Awards and decoration include the Bronze Star medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service medal (2), South West Asia Service medal- two bronze stars, the War on Terrorism medal, The Kuwait Liberation Medal, Saudi Arabian Liberation Medal, the Air Assault badge, and the Parachutist badge.
He is married to the former Ellen Tracy, of Canton, Massachusetts. They have three children, a freshmen at the College of William and Mary, and two high schoolers at Oyster River High School.
