Major Justin Strevig is a native of Pennsylvania. He is a 2000 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation, he commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Engineer Corps, and served in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). After serving in various capacities in the 101st Airborne Division from Platoon Leader to Company Commander, he left active duty and came to New Hampshire, where he worked for Amazon.com.

After joining the New Hampshire Army National Guard, Maj. Strevig served as a trainer and Commander for the Officer Candidate School. He currently serves as the Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of New Hampshire.
