Master Sergeant William King is the Senior Military Science Instructor (SMSI). His primary MOS is 19Z, Armor/Cavalry and he has served in every position from tank driver to First Sergeant.
He has 24 years of military experience, including 6 years with the Marine Corps and 18 in the Army. In addition to assignments with the 7th Infantry Division (Light), 1st Marine Division, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized), and 1st Cavalry Division, MSG King has also instructed Armor Officer Basic Course at Fort Knox, KY and been assigned as an Instructor/Competitor with the United States Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, GA.
MSG King has deployed multiple times with the Marine Corps including Operation Desert Storm. He also deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from Nov 2005 thru Nov 2006 with 1st Battalion, 67th Armor, 2nd Brigade Combat Team (BCT), 4th Infantry Division (M) as an Operations NCOIC and Tank Company First Sergeant. He deployed again to Iraq from Jun 2008 thru Jun 2009 with HHT and B Troops, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 4th BCT, 1st Cavalry Division as a Troop First Sergeant.
His awards include two Bronze Stars, two Meritorious Service Medals, two Army Commendation Medals an Army Achievement Medal, and the Iraqi Campaign Medal. He has also been awarded the Presidents Hundred Tab, Distinguished Shooters Badge and the Order Of Saint George-Bronze.
MSG King is married to Robbin King and has two children, Jessica and Ian.
