NOMINATING COMMITTEE NAMED!

Summary: 

The Nominating Committee is currently hard at work seeking candidates to fill Board vacancies.

Each year the ARA Board of Directors experiences a turn over of Directors as terms expire. This year we have 6 vacancies: Vice President, Treasurer, Audio-Visual, Memorial Fund, Public Relations, and Hospitality.

A Nominating Committee has been established to seek out individuals to fill those vacancies. That Committee is comprised of: Jane Grota (Chair), janegrota@comcast.net, Jim Hellen at jandchellen@yahoo.com, Dee McClave at deemcclave@gmail.com, Pat Pine at pleypine@comcast.net, and Michael O'Sullivan at michael_osullivan@uml.edu.

Here's your opportunity to get involved! Each Nominating Committee Member has copies of the job description for the above referenced vacancies. You are invited to contact a committee member for information regarding a board vacancy or feel free to contact any current board member.

This is a wonderful organization and can only continue to be so if individuals step up and participate. We have a large number of new members in the past few years. Here's your chance! For those of you who have been an ARA member for a number of years, we need your experience. Our first General Meeting of 2013 will take place on February 11th at the Durham Evangelical Church. There will be a table set up with information regarding the Board vacancies. Nominating Committee Members as well as current Board members will be available to answer your questions.
