There will be a short ARA meeting followed by our program, a presentation from Chris Sterndale, the Executive Director of Cross Roads House in Portsmouth entitled "Homelessness in Seacoast NH - Who, Why and What's Being Done About It?"
Cross Roads House opened its doors in 1982 to assist homeless individuals and families. They have since become the largest emergency and transitional shelter in New Hampshire, serving eastern New Hampshire and southern Maine.
Prior to his 12 years at Cross Roads House, 10 as its Executive Director, Chris worked for Staples, as a lobbyist and for a number of political campaigns. He is a NH native, a graduate of Oyster River High School and the University of New Hampshire. Chris currently lives in Madbury with his wife and two children.
