Tour #1 departs Durham from Oyster River High School.  Important reminder for Tour #1:  the Portsmouth pick-up will be prior to the Durham pick-up.  Tours #2 and #3 leave from the lower parking lot of the Durham Evangelical Church, Route 108, Durham, at the times indicated.  There will be Portsmouth pick-up for all tours.  Parking for the Portsmouth pick-up is at the State Liquor store at the Portsmouth Circle. 

Members and guests are asked to give consideration to their health and well-being before registering for tours requiring greater physical exertion than others (such as walking, stair climbing, etc.).  Sign up only for tours you know you can fully and safely enjoy.  Guests are more than welcome to join us on our tours.

Making Your Reservations:  Reservations are accepted by mail or by hand at meetings (give directly to Gayle Hylen, Tour Director, or any Tour Committee member).  Reservations will be honored in the order they are received.  Your reservation forms are included in the direct mailing that you recently received.  Please complete (with your luncheon choice where appropriate) and promptly mail the reservation form(s) with your check(s) to the address indicated on the form.  Make your check(s) payable to:  ARA Tours.  Separate checks must accompany each tour reservation.  Please do not staple, tape or clip check to the reservation form.  You will receive confirmation by phone call approximately one week prior to tour date.  Checks will NOT be deposited until after the trip.

Eligibility:  Members in good standing for the current 2012-2013 year are eligible to participate in the trips.

Guest Policy:  Check with Gayle Hylen (ghylen47@comcast.net or 603-659-2422) if you would like to bring a guest.  Please identify your guest on your reservation form.

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds are made when there is a waiting list and your space can be filled.  Cancellations and/or substitutions must be made with Gayle Hylen (ghylen47@comcast.net or 603-659-2422).  In the event of inclement weather, trips may be cancelled by the bus company.  In the event of cancellations, you will be contacted directly.

Contacting Tours Director on Day of Tour:  If you need to contact the Tours Director on the day of departure, please call her cell phone at 413-478-3011.

Tipping:  The cost of the trip includes all gratuities, including the bus driver.  The cost for any wine or other alcoholic drink is not included in the cost of the trip and must be paid separately.

Drifter Policy:  ARA cannot be responsible for those who leave the tour group and get left behind.  Occasionally, plans have to be changed during the trip due to unforeseen circumstances.  There is no way to communicate with anyone who has left the group and gone off on their own.  Efforts will be made to locate anyone who has left the group, but the bus will be held no longer than 15 minutes.
