The Memorial Fund was established as a result of a generous gift from the Robert Smith family in his memory.  Shortly thereafter, a gift in memory of Betsy Towle was received and since that time several donations have been made to honor the passing of ARA members.  Memorial Fund monies are used to facilitate the purchase of equipment needs not included in the regular ARA budget and to offer lectures that are free and open to the general public.
