General Meetings and Special Events

Program Committee Meeting

Location:  Durham Police Dept.

We will discuss the Fall/September General Meeting and our annual "Commercial Entertainment" for the exciting Terms A & B you have helped plan.

We will also be discussing some of the ideas for the Winter-Spring Term already in the works.

October General Meeting

Join us for refreshments and time to socialize.  The program will be Ramblin' Richard Kruppa will present a  program on the "Songs of World War II'.  Join us and sing along!

March General Meeting

Note: The March General Meeting will be held in the Sanctuary of the Durham Evangelical Church (upper level), not in the lower level where past meetings have been held. Please park in the upper level parking area.


Please join us at our March General Meeting on Monday, March 23, 2015, 1:30 pm, Durham Evangelical Church (sanctuary, upper level), 114 Dover Road (Route 108), Durham, NH.

After time to socialize and enjoy some light refreshments, the program will feature Carl Lindblade of the UNH Hospitality Management Department, speaking on:

Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon

Join us at Portsmouth Country Club for our Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon.  There will be social time beginning at 11:30 a.m. featuring a cash bar.  Seating and the President's Greeting will be at noon and lunch will be served at 12:15.

The Annual Meeting Call to Order will be at 1:15.  the agenda includes election of new officers and directors, including the election of new Board Members and an opportunity to say thank you to retiring members.

Memorial Fund to Host Dennis Meadows

The program will feature pre-eminent futurist Dr. Dennis L. Meadows, with a program entitled:

"Limits to Growth: The Last Four Decades and the Next Four."

1:30 p.m. - ARA Member Arts Expo

Enjoy an Art Expo of ARA members’ work covering a wide variety of media, plus live music, refreshments, and good fellowship.  Twenty-three artists and artisans will show their work and be available to discuss it.
