She will be discussing “Experiments in Bending the Value Curve; Can We Deliver Better Health Care at Lower Cost?”

Seacaost Memorial Lecture Series to host Author Eleanor Morse

On Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. Durham Community Church, 17 Main Street, Durham, The Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series will host Eleanor Morse talking about her book “White Dog Fell from the Sky”.  In apartheid South Africa in 1976, medical student Isaac Muthethe is forced to flee his country after witnessing a friend murdered by white members of the South African Defense Force. He is smuggled into Botswana, where he is hired as a gardener by a young American woman, Alice Mendelssohn, who has abandoned her Ph.D. studies to follow her husband to Africa.

Annual Meeting and Luncheon

Join us for the Annual Meeting & Spring Luncheon at the Portsmouth Country Club 80 Country Club Lane (off Portsmouth Ave.), Greenland, NH Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

The 2013 ARA Nominating Committee has submitted the following slate of officers and directors for election at the Annual Meeting: Treasurer -  Dorothy Healy, Secretary - Pat Pine, Audio-visual - George Whitehead, Facilities - Steve Fink, Hospitality - Susan Ervin, Memorial Fund - Michael O’Sullivan, Public Relations - Bob Doty.

General Meeting

Join us at 1:30 p.m. at the Durham Evangelical Church for refreshments and a time to socialize.

A brief business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Carl Lindblade entitled "Story of the Russo Japanese Treaty Conference at Wentworth by the Sea."
