This program will present the visual arts as they express values of the culture, prophecies of things to come and memorials to individual taste. Come have a look.

September 19 – Joan Sinisi, docent at many museums, currently at the Ogunquit Museum, will return to complete her talk on Jamie Wyeth and to present Howard Pyle, foremost American Illustrator.

Septemer 26 – Two evocative TED talks (see Term B - Thursday P.M.) about art to discuss what we hear and see. What is art for? Don Beddie* will lead the discussion.

October 3 – The Barnes Collection. Come watch a video about the re-invention of the Barnes Foundation, a private collection comprised of fabulous works of art. Judith Custer* will lead the discussion.

October 10 – Daniel Chester French, the making of the Lincoln Memorial and other American monuments. Presenter: Joan Sinisi.
