Anti-corrosion Coatings

Ion Sequestration Particles

The ion sequestration core encapsulates passivating ions that can exchange with the corroding free ions (OH- and Cl-). This core is protected by a solid polymer shell to avoid a reaction with the coating matrix.

The resulting particles will enhance the performance of existing coatings without changing the application or manufacturing process.

Novel Copolymer for enhanced  Steel-Epoxy Adhesion

Block copolymers are prepared by living free radical polymerization mechanism such as Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and Reversible Addition Fragmentation chain Transfer polymerization (RAFT) and Nitroxyde Mediated Polymerization (NMP). These polymers are evaluated for their corrosion resistance by accelerated testing .
