May, 2011, Rebecca Lang Memorial Fund Recipients Announced
We are pleased to announce four UNH anthropology majors have been selected to receive awards from the Rebecca Lang Memorial Fund which was established to help students expand their education in archaeology and anthropology through field study.
Awardees include John Paul DeGennaro and Kerissa Paquette, both of whom will be excavating Mayan sites with Dr. Harrison-Buck during her inaugural archaeological field school season in Belize; Emma Pankey who will be participating in archaeological excavations in Ireland; and Sasha Thalheimer who will be conducting ethnographic and museum research on textiles in Russia.
