Policies and Practices
UNH ADVANCE will focus on change at the department level through changes in recruitment, promotion policies, and practice.
Policy changes will include:
— mandatory training for faculty search committees;
— written guidelines for faculty promotion and tenure;
— department chair and center director training;
— development/mentoring programs for new faculty;
— regular analysis of wage equity at the University;
— development of flexible workplace policies to
support
career advancement for STEM
faculty women.
