Faculty Instructional Technology Development Fund

The Faculty Instructional Technology Development Fund provides support for the improvement of the learning experiences of UNH students by supporting the development of effective instructional applications of information technology. Since 2000, over $700,000 has been awarded to support the efforts of UNH and UNHM faculty, academic and administrative departments, and the Library to improve teaching and learning through the use of information technology.

In 2005, Proposals are encouraged which represent collaborative work among faculty in a department, program, school, and/or college. Faculty are invited to actively consider the ways in which information technology can contribute to improved learning for students. Proposals which contribute to assessing outcomes for UNH students, and/or enhance the Library’s ability to offer electronic resources and retire print resources, will be given priority. Proposals that are collaborative efforts in and across departments, schools, and colleges, and proposals which make effective use of and leverage information technology resources already established at UNH (e.g. Blackboard) will also be given priority.
