Walt Alderman Cameron Wake collects and studies ice cores from around the world to reconstruct past climate change, He is involved in the NOAA funded AIRMAP (Atmospheric Investigation, Regional Modeling, Analysis and Prediction) project (http://airmap.unh.edu). AIRMAP seeks to improve our understanding of New England’s changing climate and air quality through the investigation of the physical and chemical aspects of the New England atmosphere.. Dr. Wake is also leading the New England Integrated Sciences and Assessments - INHALE (Integrated Human Health and Air Quality Assessment) project (http://inhale.unh.edu) aimed at improving our understanding of how air pollution and weather affect human health.
