Faculty, Jeffrey Colman Salloway


Jeffrey SallowayJeffrey Colman Salloway is Professor of Health Management and Policy at UNH. He holds the Ph.D. in sociology from Boston University and did post doctoral study at Tufts Medical School. Following a career in medical education, he came to UNH in 1988. He has written five books and numerous articles. His research interests center on the relationship between social behavior and the epidemiology of disease. He teaches courses in epidemiology, public health and human behavior, and history of public health. He is the recipient in 2002 of the Outstanding Teacher Award from the School of Health and Human Services.
