2. UNH Quick Find

With one click, you can now reach the top 15 or 20 destinations at unh.edu. We’ve developed the home page Quick Find based upon your feedback of the places you visit most often. This list will change to reflect your use of the Web site and your preferences. For example, during the winter months, you’ll find easy access to the Storm Info line. In the spring, you may want to go directly to Cooperative Extension with a gardening question. A Find It Fast feature has been built into all sub-pages to help you find the most visited areas, regardless of your location within unh.edu. Back to Top

3. Telling Our Story

The most prominent feature of the new unh.edu is the way in which we'll be telling our story on the home page. Hit your browser’s reload button when you're on the home page and the photo and the caption will change. These rotating simple feature stories and images give the visitor a snapshot of the UNH experience. From world-renowned research here in a Durham laboratory, to student activities and athletic successes, the home page will continually support the central theme of living, working, and studying at the University of New Hampshire: Discovery. 4. Navigation Bars

The navigation bars are the heart and soul of the new unh.edu. We’ve developed an information architecture that is logical and intuitive. You may now navigate through the site from an audience perspective…just choose the group in which you belong. Or, navigate from an informational perspective…just choose the category of information that addresses your interests and needs. Helpful “breadcrumbs” will allow you to keep your bearings by indicating where you are within the site. Breadcrumbs look like this — UNH Home >> About This Site — and are at the top of the page, just above the headline. Back to Top

5. UNH News

We’ve improved the most popular feature of unh.edu. The home page will now feature a more flexible and timely presentation of news items and announcements. And, the news feature will be customized on sub-pages. For example, the home page will feature those items with the broadest impact or appeal while the current students page will feature news items and announcements of interest to our students…an upcoming financial aid deadline or a special event in the MUB. Finally, clicking on the UNH News bar will take you to the Media Relations page where you will find all of our current news, an archive of past news, and Campus Journal. Back to Top
