SAAC - Kelly Feibel reported on her experience at the NCAA Leadership Conference. Mike Souza reported that SAAC was working on an alcohol policy.

Awards - Carol Sanborn reported that the Alumni Office will continue to donate $2000, in Jack Lawson's name, to support the Awards luncheon. Carol is beginning to secure additional sponsors.

 3. UNH logo/mark task force, Dot Sheehan -- Director of External Relations for Athletics -- discussed preliminary meetings and discussions centered around revisions of the UNH logos and marks. She also reported on her work bringing local vendors into compliance with licensing policies.

4. Baseball infield -- The committee discussed whether it is now an appropriate time to open the baseball field to other UNH teams. The elimination of baseball resulted in negotiations with baseball support groups that resulted in an agreement not to convert the baseball field until UNH had begun implementing the planning for the track and football field project. Judy Ray discussed the planning for the track and football field. The AAC discussed the a central intent behind the decisions to eliminate sports in 1996-97 -- to provide more support for the remaining sports. This included field space. Given that principle, the AAC members agreed that the baseball field should be opened to other teams as soon as possible. Steve Hardy will forward this recommendation to the President

The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
