UNH Search FAQ:
Included in the index.

The goal is to index all of the publicly accessible
Web pages in the UNH Intranet (unh.edu domain).
Infoseek is the primary indexing tool and search
engine, supplemented by others for special
situations. The Infoseek index is organized
as one large collection called "UNH Intranet".
Pages not in that collection include:
- Pages indexed by other search engines, as
part of our collection management strategy:
- Pages that are logically part of the
UNH Intranet collection with Infoseek, but
which are
not indexed for either
technical reasons or
are blocked by the server administrator
or page author (and therefore are not
really public, at least for search engine
spider purposes).
A good example is the
campus directories for people, which
does not exist as a set of static Web pages
that can be indexed, even though the
information can be served to a Web browser.
