The Sustainability Stratigy was written by the request of President Leitzel to show her how The University of New Hampshire could become more sustainable. It encompases all aspects of the day to day operation of the university and what improvements can be made to make it more sustainable. It was presented to her in its present form on April 27th 1997. Since then she has already spoken with people within the University about the importance of working towards attaining these goals. This document is by no means complete or finished it is a living document, meaning that it will be constantly revised and changed as more knowledge comes to light.
