Although the CR have been to UNH before, we represent a new and improved group striving to increase our Congressional majority, bring a Republican president to the White House in the year 2000, and support local Republican candidates for office. • To promote Republican candidates in local, state, and national elections.
• To work toward providing a better understanding of what it means to be a Republican.
• To provide a forum so that conservative opinions can be introduced into a campus dialogue.
• To further our philosophy of less government, greater local control, lower taxes, and personal responsibility.

Here is a description of what the CRNC (our parent organization) is all about:

The College Republican National Committee (CRNC) is the largest and most active student political organization in the nation. Founded at the University of Michigan and with a 107 year history, the CRNC is also the oldest political youth organization in America. The Committee consists of 50 federations and over 1,000 campus chapters with more than 100,000 members. The CRNC has come a long way in developing into a modern day political vehicle to recruit, register and train college students in Republican politics.
