CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE Buchanan, Dole, Dornan, Gramm, Keyes (NH Schedule 7/4/95)

Press release from: Conservative Political Victory Fund

Contact: Caroline Douglas-603-224-1988

Top Presidential Candidates Will Attend Annual CPVF Family Picnic and Pig Roast.

This year's July Fourth family picnic and pig roast, sponsored annually by the NH Conservative Political Victory Fund, promises to be the hottest spot yet to meet Presidential candidates, according to CPVF founder Chuck Douglas.

Although Republicans seeking to oust President Bill Clinton have been traveling the state for months in anticipation of next year's first in the nation primary, very few times has it been possible to see most of them at one location, let alone meet them each personally.

"The picnic's informal atmosphere is the perfect place to talk one- on-one with a possible future President of the United States," Douglas said.

Among the GOP candidates planning to attend are: Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole and his wife Elizabeth, who heads the American Red Cross, Sen. Phil Gramm of Texas, Cong. Bob Dornan of California, former UN Ambassador Alan Keyes, and conservative columnist and talk-show host Pat Buchanan.

Also attending will be all four members of the New Hampshire congressional delegation and Gov. Stephen Merrill, as well as numerous state senators, representative, and county and city elected officials.

This years event will be held at beautiful Arbutus Farm in Dunbarton from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The affair will include games for all ages, a raffle, and mounds of food, including, hot dogs, salads, desserts, and mounds of roast pork, cooked country style in the open air.

Douglas said because of the number of national candidates attending this year, the reservation and prepayment deadline for tickets is June 30. Costs are: adults, $20; children-12, $10. Children under 5 are free. For information on tickets and reservations, call the NH Conservative Political Victory Fund at 226-1988. __________________________________________________________________

ALEXANDER CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE: JULY 6

NH-Primary received the following announcement from the Alexander Campaign:

The Walk: On Tuesday [June 20], Lamar announced his summer plans to walk the highways and byways of New Hampshire--from Concord to Manchester to Nashua to Portsmouth. On Channel 9, Lamar said that he is committed to the voters of New Hampshire and wants to meet them on their terms, in their backyards and where they work. What better way than to drop by the general store for a lemonade and a chat, or say hello while you mow your lawn. The walk kicks off July 6th in Concord at the Capitol City Diner at 8AM. Put on your sneakers and walk with us! At noon there will be a complementary barbecue at the United Methodist Church in Pembroke. Call the office and we'll give you the direction to all these events: we want you there! No other candidate is going to be this accessible, so come on along and meet Lamar as he starts his walk for the White House! ________________________________________________________________________
