Rosamond Emerson Leland, who graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1937, smiled as she entered the New England Center with her husband Hollis L. Leland, to greet her family and friends in celebration of her 84th birthday. Her smile deepened as she read the large sign announcing the new endowment in her name to support the university's performing arts.

The Celebrity Series at UNH will feature the Ballet Nacional de Caracas on Friday, October 27, 2000, at 8:00 p.m. For tickets please contact the MUB box office at (603) 862-2290, or online at www.unh.edu/mub/ticket. Please call (603) 862-2418 to be added to the Celebrity Series mailing list.
