To the alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students of the University of New Hampshire:

We are deeply honored to serve as co-chairs of The Next Horizon: The Campaign for the University of New Hampshire. Each of us has long and close ties with UNH. We have seen how important the University is in the lives of individuals and in the life of the state, and we welcome the opportunity to be part of a campaign that promises to raise this institution to a new level of excellence and distinction.

UNH has traditionally been a place of opportunity. Founded as one of the nation’s first land-grant colleges, it has helped generations of students to realize their dreams of a better life and a better world. In each generation, its continued success depended on the foresight and dedication of visionary people who faced the challenges of a changing world and seized the opportunities that change presents. Today, its continued success depends on us. It is our responsibility to secure the resources the University needs to achieve its full potential in the years to come.
