What have we been up to this semester?
- excellent student attendance at the New Hampshire Music Educators Association All Member Banquet!
- clinic- Planning a high school musical
- participating in the UNH Child Learning and Development Center Career Fair. What careers were the pre- kindergarten students interested in? Firefighters, police officers.... and musicians of course!
- attending the Vermont state Music Educators conference, and met June Hinckly, MENC National President!
- organizing and teaching students in
the New Hampshire Honors Youth Band, a group for budding middle/
high school level musicians in New Hampshire.
- the All-National Conference in Washington D.C.
- clinics on music technology and student teaching (others TBA)
- a trip to Pinkerton Academy to observe a choir rehearsal; Director Tom Quiggly will demonstrate his methods to achieve a succesful choir program.
- possible trip to Portland Symphony Orchestra Concert
- attend teleconference on NAEP results, to be held here at UNH
- and whatever else we plan for a mission.
