"Following the events of Sept. 11, a review of all safety policies related to laboratories, mail services and other areas of concern to individuals on campus is being conducted by a group of university personnel. Brad Manning, director of environmental health and safety; deans; UNH police; facilities directors; and communication specialists are working with the UNH Committee on Environmental Health and Safety to assess the current level of security and to undertake any changes that need to be made at this time.

"A university is necessarily an open community where the exchange of ideas and access to information sources are critical to learning. We will protect this environment as we safeguard the security of the campus."
