Freshman Camp is FANTASTIC experience! In the list below you will find everything needed to successfully navigate this UNH Tradition!

Things to bring:
(Pack these things separate from your college stuff)

A sleeping bag or gear and a pillow (we sleep in cabins- they even have running water)
Clothes for warm days, cold nights, and wet weather.
A bathing suit and a beach towel
A bandana or a close facsimile
Musical instruments: guitars, kazoo, jaw harp, harmonica, your garbanzo bean maracas you made in first grade, etcetera
Fun toys- lacrosse sticks, baseball gloves, playing cards, Frisbee, origami kit, other stuff
Clothes from the 70s (or early 80s if you're more into it.)
ENERGY! (nap time included)

There is a Camp Store where you can purchase snacks and camp T-shirts. Camp Robindel has an infirmary as well as a physician on-call. Freshman Camp will not be responsbile for the loss or damage of personal property. Please label your luggage!"

Registration:
Registration will take place on Wednesday, August 27th at 8am-10am at the Elliott Alumni Center. Please be on time! Staff members will open your individual residence halls at 8am so you can store your belongings for the year before you leave for camp. Please go to residence halls first to unpack before coming to registration.

Transportation:
Buses will transport you to and from Camp Robindel. We will return to campus the afternoon of August 30th.

How to Apply:
The number of participants is limited to the first 200 freshman who apply. The total cost of camp is $250 which includes: all meals, lodging, transportation, medical insurance, and all camp activities. The first deposit of $100 is due with the submission of your application (see below) along with a recent photo of yourself by June 30th. A confirmation card and camper packet will be sent to you after receiving and processing your information. If all spots in Camp have been filled, your deposit will be returned. The remaining balance of $150 will be due by July 18th (any late payment of the balance will result in an additional $30 late fee). The deposit will not be returned if cancellations are made after July 18th. If you wish to send the entire payment along with the application, it will be accepted and greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to UNH Freshman Camp.

To register for the University of New Hampshire Freshman Camp, choose one of the following registration options:

1) Download the Freshman Camp 2008 Registration Form, print it out on your computer, fill it out and mail it with a recent picture of the potential camper and a $100 check payable to Freshman Camp to:
