What is the Fireside Adventure Experience? Fireside is an adventure-based program designed to place participants in a safe, fun, and challenging environment. Participants engage in activities designed to enhance decision-making skills, self-understanding, self-confidence and responsibility. Fireside strives to foster community amongst UNH students, faculty and staff by using the outdoors as a tool for personal and community development. The program was started in 1980 by UNH staff who saw the potential for an experience-based outdoors group to have a positive impact upon first-year students For more information Click Here
