1996-1997 Intern on Biobehavioral Unit at Children's Seashore
House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Work included acting as a
clinical specialist diagnosing and designing and implementing
treatments for developmentally disabled individuals with severe
behavior problems.
Current research activities
Analysis of a data set with regards to the integration of effort
into the matching law.
Investigation of discounting of effort using adjusting techniques
which have previously been applied to amount of and delay to reinforcers.
Other interests
Creative writing, science fiction, music, the disturbing stuff
people do.
Special abilities beyond
those of mere mortals
Can make a really good pizza from scratch. His tacos are also
decent.
Likes
Uncomplicated experimental designs, graphical analysis, automated
data collection, parsimonious explanations, long walks on the
beach at sunset.
Dislikes
Multivariate statistics, confounds, quasiexperiments, multivariate
statistics, confounds, quasiexperiments, pencil-and-paper tests,
improper explanations, pseudoscience, broccoli.
