For those using commercial airlines, Logan Airport (Boston,
Massachusetts; 60 miles from Durham) and Manchester Airport (Manchester,
NH; approximately 35 miles from Durham) are served by all major carriers.
Manchester is by far a less hectic experience and fares are often less than those to Boston. A commercial vendor (C&J Trailways, 1-800-258-7111) operates buses approximately every hour from Logan to the Durham area. The cost is $18 one way. We will provide shuttles for those C&J runs that terminate in Dover if request by 1 June (request to: john@christa.unh.edu). We have negotiated a group discount for service from Manchester (via Flightline Shuttle, 1-888-942-5044), as follows: Number of Passengers Group Price One $36.00 Two $57.00 Three $66.00 Four $75.00 Five or more people $85.00 Additionally, Pan American Airlines is expanding service from Orlando and Chicago directly to Pease Airport (Newington, New Hampshire; 10 miles from Durham). Added destinations to/from Pease may include St. Louis and Philadelphia by June 2000. We will shuttle anyone arriving at Pease if requested by 1 June. Parking: Registrants will be able to park on campus for $6. Persons with handicaps should contact us with
