General Information

The UNH Student Ambassadors Council was founded in 1980 as a result of the increasing need for a working relationship between UNH students and the alumni of the University of New Hampshire.

Twenty students now compose the group which functions as the strongest link the Alumni Association has with the student body. The Ambassadors foster a sense of pride, promote tadition and work toward projecting school spirit to classmates, alumni, and friends of UNH.

Ambassadors are involved with numerous activities which include Senior Week, Farewell Festival, Operation Overcoat, the Presidents Holiday Party, Ben Thompson's Birthday Celebration, Alumni Chapter Dinners, and many other alumni and university related events.

Currently, there are some new events in the works. The most exiting of which is Oozeball. This muddy version of volley ball is expected to hit campus during the fall semester of 1998.
