The Math and Marine Science Program for 1995 was a great experience for all. We all learned much about marine life, computers, statistics, and each other.

We listened to many lectures, went on many field trips, and asked many questions to find out the things that we know now. Most of the information that we learned was new and exciting. We were able to do a lot of hands-on investigating which proved to be an effective as well as messy and fun way to learn.

The social aspect of the program was also wonderful. In the beginning, barely anyone knew each other. This made for an awkward first couple of days. By the third day, however, we were all laughing and talking like we'd known each other forever. Now at the end of the program, we are all wondering what we are going to do when we are separated.

This has been great for all of us. We have learned so much and made so many friends. This is a wonderful program and we would all recommend it to interested freshmen.
